    So Far So Good

    I just filled my first Trashie Bag and I plan on shipping it out tomorrow! I hope all goes well and I can start earning Trashie Cash. This seems to good to be true! So I’m very excited about this new experience! My plan is to order 3 more Trashie Bags!

    Easy But Ambiguous

    I signed up for Trashie so that I could responsibly recycle/dispose of fabric and remnants I had around the house. It was super easy to pack them up and send them off via the QR code at the UPS Store. Where the ambiguity comes in is if I used Trashie correctly. I don't have old clothes that I want to earn credits for. I want to avoid putting inappropriate items in our dumps where it cannot break down. Trashie advertises that they meticulously sort the items, so that they are "directed to their optimal next use." Does that mean that the trash fabric is actually processed and recycled to make new materials, or are they just going to sort my old fabric/remnants into the dump for me? Either way, I am grateful that Trashie has some kind of system available to help this very large problem.
